Dear Members,

As I step into the role of President of the Washington State Court Reporters Association, I am filled with immense gratitude and enthusiasm. It is truly an honor to serve a community so dedicated to upholding the highest standards of our profession. Together, we have the unique opportunity to shape the future of court reporting in Washington and beyond, ensuring that our voices are heard and our skills are recognized. 

My vision for the coming year is to strengthen our connections, enhance our educational offerings, and advocate for the profession.

Each of you plays a crucial role in this journey, and your passion and expertise will drive our collective success. Let us embrace innovation while honoring the traditions that have defined our profession. 

As we move forward, I encourage you to engage actively, share your insights, and reach out to one another.  Together, we can create an environment where every member feels empowered and valued. Let us inspire one another to reach new heights and continue to elevate the court reporting profession. 

This year, we have several key initiatives to enhance our association and the court reporting profession.  The WCRA Board has been working to bring the Spring Seminar From Good to Great: Skill Evolution.  More information is coming shortly, but please save the date of April 26, 2025, to attend either in person or virtually.
